You need strategy in place to know how to implement and use all the information you have gained from your brand pillars. Strategy involves diving into and creating the above points, allow you to get super clear on who your clients.

It’s time to get your own personal vision board together now. Pop over to Pinterest and start collecting logos you’re drawn to (with your brand in mind), colour palettes, typefaces, photographic styles, pattern designs, illustrative designs and just an overall aesthetic you like. This is a great exercise for me to understand your own personal tastes when it comes to branding. After all its your brand so you have to LOVE it! Although your brand is for your client NOT you so there will be somethings that will not have a place in your brand to work.

This is the fun part…

It’s time to create a mood board of what you personally like visually. This isn’t to say these ideas are going to show up in your branding. Its my job to create a brand designed to your ideal client not you. But you have to love your brand and be proud of it. So style elements will come into consideration if they are aligned with your ideal client. Comment on all your pins telling me what you like about that pin would be super helpful.
